Google cardboard app for IOS and Android with 4 games to practice measurement and geometry, orientation and learn about basic 3d shapes.
In Startrekenen VR you can practice measurement and geometry, orientation and learn about basic 3d shapes in a realistic world.
Startrekenen VR consists of the main UI and 4 games.
I’ve made a video of all of them separately.
1 Main UI
Here you can download the neccesary assetbundles and read instructions, and unlock the app by scanning a QR code.
2 Escape room,
where you have to unlock the door to the next room by answering questions about the 3d shapes, or symmetry you can find in the rooms.
You can change mode of movement between teleport and ‘walking’ to the destination, for people who get motionsickness easily.
2 Height/length game.
Estimate the height of the Markthal in Rotterdam, or the length of the Erasmusbrug by finding clues in and around these locations. This was the first game we made for Startrekenen VR and it used 360 degree panoramic video’s.
3 Route game
In this game you’re a pizza delivery person, and you need to follow a list of directions to get to the destination.
4 Aanzichten game, (View game?) you’re tasked to recreate pictures and have to position yourself at the correct vantage point by looking at your map and your surroundings.
